Electrical Connection
The installer is responsible for the correct electrical connection of
the appliance and the observance of the relative safety
prescriptions.
The appliance must be connected to the mains, checking first of all
that the voltage corresponds to the value given on the rating plate
and that the section of the electrical wires can take the load
indicated on the rating plate.
Fit a standard plug which is suitable for the power absorbed by the
appliance.
Plug in the appliance into an earthed socket.
Do not use multiple plug adapters or extension cables.
The connection can be made directly to the mains by means of an
all-pole disconnect switch with minimum contact gap of 3 mm.
When the appliance is installed, the switch or socket must always
be accessible.
The supply cable must not come in contact with hot parts and must
be positioned so that it does not exceed the temperature of 75°C at
any point.
After the appliance has been installed, the electrical components
must be inaccessible.
No liability for damage or injury to persons or property will be accepted
from the non-observance of these requirements.
IF THE HOB SURFACE IS CRACKED DISCONNECT THE APPLIANCE FROM THE
mains. Connection TO A GOOD EARTH WIRING SYSTEM IS ABSOLUTELY
ESSENTIAL. THE MANUFACTURER ACCEPTS NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY
INCONVENIENCE CAUSED BY FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS RULE.
For UK only

spur box, proceed as follows:
- The green and yellow wire must be connected to the
terminal marked E (Earth) or ( ) coloured Green.
- The blue wire must be connected to the terminal
marked N (Neutral), or coloured Black.
- The brown wire must be connected to the terminal
marked L (Live) or coloured Red.
